EMT: (Grade 63 - minimum salary $13.94 per hour – depending on qualifications) Perquimans County has multiple openings for Part-time EMT positions in its Emergency Medical Services Department. Job requirements: (1) successful completion of an approved North Carolina State Emergency Medical Technician training program and certification as EMT; and maintain level of certification listed above; (2) one year of field experience at the EMT-I certification level preferred. (3) able to pass an oral board with the system's medical director to operate at the EMT level. (4) valid North Carolina driver’s license. (5) ability to lift and move up to 200 pounds with assistance. (6) High School graduate or equivalent. See Job description for further info. PART-TIME PERQUIMANS COUNTY TOURISM DIRECTOR: Perquimans County is seeking a contract part-time Tourism Director that will report directly to our Tourism Development Authority.  The hourly salary will be based on education and experience.  This individual will develop and encourage progress and innovation to a tourism marketing strategy designed to attract tourists and visitors to Perquimans County, while interacting with applicable local, regional and state tourism-related agencies and stakeholders.
