Pilates Classes

Pilates classes will be offered at the Perquimans County Community Center on Monday's and Friday's from 9-10 a.m. For more information contact the Perquimans County Recreation Department at 426-5695.

Aerobic Kickboxing Class

Aerobic kickboxing classes will be offered on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 6:00 pm-7:15 p.m.  Please bring an exercise mat and water.  Cost per class is $2.50.  For more information contact the Perquimans County Recreation Department at 426-5695.

Yoga

Yoga will resume on Tuesday, September 14th.  Benefits include... reduced stress, improved balance, concentration, flexibility and strength.  Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 am- 10:00 am.  Cost per class is $5.00.  Wear comfortable clothing; bring a large towel or blanket and your own mat (if you have one).  For more information contact the instructor:  Harriet Marquit at 426-1254 or harrietschoice@embarqmail.com.

FALL SPORTS

Registrations for the following sports may be completed at the Perquimans County Community Center or the forms may be downloaded and mailed to the office(when downloading forms be sure to also print a parent code of conduct to be signed).  For more information or questions please call 426-5695.

PCRD Soccer

Soccer is open to kids ages 4 to 15 years old.  The fee is $20.00. All divisions are co-ed. Registration deadline is August 20.

PCRD Football

Football is open to kids ages 6 to 12 years old.  The 6 to 8 year old children play flag football and the cost is $20.00.  Peewee football is for children 9 and 10 years old with a weight limit of 140 pounds.  Midget football is for children 11 and 12 years old with a weight limit of 185 pounds.  The fee for the Peewee and Midget leagues is $30.00.  Registration deadline is August 12.

PCRD Girls Volleyball

Volleyball is open to girls from 8 to 13 years old.  The cost to register is $20.00. Registration deadline is August 20.

PCRD Cheerleading

Cheerleading is available for girls from 6 to 12 years of age.  The fee is $20.00.
